Hi, I’m Jen — a fourth-generation Montanan, artist, wife, and mom. I’ve always believed that our homes should be sanctuaries — places that nurture the soul and fill the spirit. The things we bring into our spaces matter. The artwork on our walls, the colors we choose, the stories behind them... they all have the power to shift how we feel and remind us of what’s true and good. I paint mostly with alcohol inks because I love their fluid, unpredictable nature. The way they move and blend reminds me so much of life itself — messy, beautiful, and full of grace. Sometimes the ink flows exactly as I hoped; other times it has a mind of its own. But that’s part of what I love about it. It mirrors our own becoming — learning to let go, to trust, and to see beauty in what unfolds.
My art is inspired by the Montana landscapes that have always felt like home — the open skies, quiet mountains, and wild spaces that ground me and remind me of God’s presence. Through each piece, I hope to capture feelings of peace, hope, resilience, and joy.
My heart behind every painting is simple: I want it to mean something. I want it to breathe calm into a room, to lift someone’s spirit on a hard day, to bring a bit of beauty and truth into the everyday. I hope that when you bring one of my pieces into your home, it helps you create a space that feels like you — a place of comfort, peace, and joy.
When I saw Beneath the Surface, I felt like it was painted just for me. I decided to get the 11x14" size because I wanted it to be the first thing I see when I walk in the room. It fills the space with such calm and hope.
I absolutely LOVE Ruffled Yet Resilient!I have him hanging in my kitchen, and every time I see him, he reminds me to laugh at the little things and not take life too seriously. It brings such a lightness and joy to my day!
Oh, I am so HAPPY with Steadfast Spirit! He is absolutely beautiful! Every time I walk by, I feel encouraged to stand strong and trust the journey.LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
I absolutely love Held in Harmony. It speaks to the balance I long for. The gold thread reminds me of God's hand weaving strength through every part of my life.
